Ewe year glasses! Can't believe I've only just spotted that play on words.
Don't just follow sheep next year by buying some non-descript conservative shite. Try something different. Things appear to be getting exciting!
Fendi joins Prada (my last post), in the big-label, bigger-and-bolder-is-better approach with these great "W" shades. Would you wear them?

2011 could be an exciting year for eyewear if these Prada spring-summer 2011 ads are anything to go by...
Whether these elaborate sunglasses make it into production remains to be seen. Recent Prada show pieces have been released, so fingers crossed (see Prada Swing and the PR19MS)!

Lady Gaga continues to dine out without a cleaning cloth. This is the second time I've featured a picture of her with smeary lenses.
But let that not detract from the noble diva's fine taste in eyewear. The shades are by EWG favourite Mykita in collaboration with London-based designer Marios Schwab. Gaga wears Jane sunglasses while Hamilton, the other frame of the colab is pictured left.
Coincidentally, we publish this picture of Lady Gaga in John Lennon-style shades as Yoko Ono shared her belief that Lennon would have been a big fan:
"John would have loved her, because she’s an artist, she’s fearless and she pushes every limit, which we both always adored," she told the Daily Mail..
Mykita has stockists worldwide.

Versace's S/S 2011 ad campaign featuring Mad Men's January Jones, previously seen on EWG wearing Moscot. The top pair look very interesting with a visor in a classic shape fixed to the front frame.
Happy Christmas everybody!

Nooka has added to its Neon range of sunglasses with these glow-in-the-dark Mercury shades to be released in March 2011. The shades are actually blue in daylight but give off a funky green glow in the dark...

L.G.R Sunglasses has once again collaborated with St Moritz's prestigious Corviglia Ski Club in this release of two styles. Massawa and Naivasha have been fitted with semi-mirrored lenses, on brown and black cellulose acetate. The Corviglia Ski Club is a private affair with an 80-year heritage, with Coco Chanel and Jacques Cartier among its founders - a little more on high society in St Moritz here...

Aureta's Blog includes a lot of good eyewear - here is just a taster: a pair of Ksubi "lead-window" (my description from a post one year ago) sunglasses in black and crystal. Rather a brilliant choice to go with her Chanel jacket...
The sunnies are actually called Skeleton and also come in black and tortoiseshell and fuchsia and crystal.

I rudely failed to ask this super-stylish sunglass wearer's name this morning, too busily admiring her shades in my bumbling "Can-I-take-a-picture-of-you-in-your-sunglasses-for-my-blog?" way. Suffice to say, these shades are great: Thierry Lasry's sunglasses of the highest order. I think they're Abusy 903 like these below, similar to the Thierry Lasry sunglasses featuring 1980s vintage acetates featured here in October. Yum.
