Factory 900 Retro Future: chunky frames
There's nothing like a chunky, quality Japanese acetate to awaken a sleepy glasses blog. EWG loves these from Factory900. Available as shades or specs.

ID please: Lily wears black chunky frames at LFW

With thanks to Vanessa Jackman for her photo and blogpost

Kuboraum Masks - chunky shades and glasses designed in Berlin
Berlin has a good track record in amazing eyewear brands so when I heard about Kuboraum – literally Cubic Room – I knew it'd probably be impressive. And it is – hoorah! The 'masks' in collection K001 are chunky, bold, black frames, designed in Berlin and handmade in Italy.
"Kuboraum are cubical rooms where we shelter ourselves, free to live our intimacy and look at the world through two lenses," say the designers, and I get what they mean. For a new brand, it already seems to have a good distribution - available in Europe and beyond
