pq Eyewear in the flesh: Ron Arad launches glasses
Ron Arad's pq Eyewear gets its first outing proper this weekend at the Mido exhibition in Milan.
They kind of launched with lots of CGI graphics last year and I had a brief chat with Ron Arad about them in Paris in September.
But here are real pairs of spectacles!
Above is Corbs, right is the A frame, and below is a terrific video of the frames in production in France...

Purple haze all in my eyes: RVS by V 212 limited edition spectacles
'Scuse me while I get all overexcited by the fact that RVS by V has released a new limited edition run of its wonderful 212 glasses. I wrote about the original 212 here. One hundred are available in each colour – above is Purple Haze (down-now-now-nowwww!) and below, are the others including a lovely wood (effect, I presume). Beautifully finished eyewear that will not disappoint...

Beam, Benz or Bentley: Kirk Originals' best batch yet?
"Beam" of course. Kirk Originals really has stepped up its game with what EWG thinks might be its best batch of bins yet. The colours, the shapes, the innovation, these glasses are good enough to eat.
The Beam collection was raved about back in September 2011, and here are a few brand new shots of some of the latest rays of light to emanate from the Kirk design house.
